Last week Plex released an update to their Windows Phone 7 app with a long list of bug fixes but until now there has been no dedicated Windows Phone 8 app. Plex have just released a brand new app for Windows Phone 8 which is based on the Windows 8 version of their app.

The app streams music, video and photos from your Plex server and you can stream from Google Drive, Dropbox or Box. At the moment the app is free for Nokia Windows Phone devices and don’t forget you will need a Plex server to go with the app.

You will find the app in the Windows Phone Store.
