gMusic on a Surface RT

Google Play Music is a great services, you can upload your own music to Google’s server and you can subscribe to their music streaming server. As well as the Android app Google recently launched an iOS app but there is no official app for Windows 8/8.1. Filling the gap is a 3rd party app called gMusicW, an app I have written about before and it brings Google Music to Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. The app has just been updated to version 2.2.10 and has bug fixes and stability improvements. The update fixes disappearing media buttons and fixes an issue with scrolling in snapped view.

With the app you can play your own music stored in Google’s cloud if you have music subscription you can stream music from Google all access service.

You can find the updated app in the Windows Store.
