A couple of weeks ago Firecore (the company behind the ATVFlash addin for the Apple TV) release version 2 of their iOS media player all Infuse. The app has just been updated to version 2.1 and the main change is adding more video formats to the free version making it all the more useful. It can play MVK, MP4, AVI, WMV, M4V, MOV, FLV, OGM, OGV, ASF, 3GP, DVR-MS, WebM and even Windows Media Center TV files (WTV). The Pro version includes network streaming, AirPlay and Dolby Digital.

Also added is variable speed scrubbing, SMI subtitles and improved movie artwork. The updated free version is available in the iTunes store and the Pro version costs £2.99 as an in-app purchase.
