There is a new streaming app from the developer of ClockworkMod Koushik Dutta. AllCast is an app for Android that enables streaming of media to Roku, Apple TV, Xbox One, Google TV and other DLNA renderers. At the moment it doesn’t support Chromecast as Google haven’t opened up the APIs but when they do the developer plans to add it. Also currently the app only supports streaming of photos and video with music support coming soon. There is a trial version that has a 1 minute viewing limit so you can give it a try and the full version costs £3.05

For streaming music to DLNA from Android I use Cast to UPnp as it will stream music from Google Play Music to DLNA devices.

You can find the app in the Google Play Store.

AllCast lets you send photos and videos on your Android’s to your TV!

AllCast supports:

* Roku
* Apple TV
* Xbox 360, Xbox One
* Samsung Smart TVs
* Panasonic Smart TVs
* Google TV (Logitech Revue, etc)
* DLNA Renderers
* WDTV

Coming soon: music support!

Chromecast will be supported when Google allows it!

This is the free version of AllCast, which has a 1 minute viewing limit on pictures and videos. Upgrade to the premium version to remove the viewing limit.
