We have a really great podcast for you this week, returning to the show is Microsoft’s Charlie Owen. Charlie was a guest back on podcast number 1 when he was on the Windows Media Center team and now is on the Xbox team so we find out what he working on at Xbox. We talk about the possibilities about developing for the Xbox, pixel counts v frame rate, HDMI-CEC and IR blasting plus a ton of background information including some of the development time lines, how the Xbox cores are split up and lots more. A lot of the information I hadn’t heard before and it’s great to get Charlie back on the show. Oh and I do ask the question, why no Windows Media Center Extender features on the Xbox One.
