Microsoft have issued a couple of updates for Windows 8.1 fixes Skype cashes and Internet Explorer 11 issues. KB2902892 fixes:
When you start the Skype Windows Store app in Windows 8.1 or in Windows Server 2012 R2, the app immediately crashes, and Windows returns to the Start screen.
The problem occurs on PCs using Intel’s HD Graphics 3000 chips and the update fixes the problem.
The other update is KB2901549 which improves the reliability of IE 11 on Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2:
