Microsoft have put out an update for the Windows 8.1 RTM version of the Xbox Video app (it is also for the RC version). The app has performance improvement over the old version, on my Surface RT it certainly seems to run faster than the old version but that could be just my perception. There are also minor bug fixes in the app.
