The new look Skype that was released for Android at the beginning of this month has been updated. The new version add signing out from any of the home screens and not just the menu screen, something many commenters on the Google Play Store reviews have been asking for. Also in this update they have fix an issue where you couldn’t make calls or change your status.
I like the look and feel of the latest Skype app, its very Windows Phone which is no bad thing. The app is free from the Google Play Store.

Thanks to your feedback, you can now sign out from any of the home screens in addition to the profile screen. Just hit the menu key from any of them.
For good measure we’ve fixed some more bugs too, including one that might have prevented you from making any calls or changing your status to online.
