DVBLogic have released a new version of DVBLink TVSource for NAS platforms. Build 8779 adds support for DVB-C USB tuners for NAS devices. This enables streaming of free to air cable channels over DVBLink which should be good for European users who have quite a lot of free channels over cable (Compatible tuners can be purchased from TBS, more details over at DVBLogic.com) . The new build also improves the drivers for TBS 5680 CI cable tuners.

You can get the update from dvblogic.com and it will run on NAS devices from Synology, QNAP, NETGEAR, ASUSTOR and IOmega-Lenovo.

We have released a new build of DVBLink TVSource product for all supported NAS platforms today (build 8779, version 4.6.0).

DVBLogic have partnered with TBS to bring the long-awaited support for DVB-C USB tuner on a NAS platform for FTA channels reception.

This feature is especially interesting for the customers of UPC Nederland,Unitymedia-Kabel BW and Kabel Deutschland cable networks. These cable TV operators offer a substantial amount of not encrypted TV channels, also including HD ones. DVBLink software in combination with TBS DVB-C USB stick is a perfect solution to receive and record these TV channels directly to your NAS and watch live and recorded TV on a variety of DVBLink clients within your home network.

The TBS DVB-C USB stick is available for purchase globally from TBS webshop and our European customers can buy this tuner from the official TBS dealer in Germany.

The DVBLink TVSource software for your NAS can be downloaded from our website at www.dvblogic.com. The software runs on a variety of NAS models from Synology, QNAP, NETGEAR, ASUSTOR and IOmega-Lenovo.

This new build also contains substantial improvement in drivers for TBS 5680 CI cable tuners. It fixes the issues with low signal quality / visual artifacts on the cable networks of some providers (like Ziggo in the Netherlands).
