Google have updated the Google Play Music app for Android adding mobile bandwidth options. The new settings allow you to set the quality of the audio stream so you can tailor for your bandwidth, there are three options: Low, Normal and High. Google say that they have also reduced the data usage overall and improved the search results.

The new options should make it a little lighter on mobile data use which is a good thing with bandwidth caps. The app is available from the Google Play Store.
