Channel 4 have had a catchup app for iOS for a while and now they have a launched 4oD for Android. With the app you can watch TV shows from Channel 4, E4 and More4. When you launch the app you have the option of registering and signing in with an account so that you have access to Channel 4’s archive of content not just the last 30 days of content. The app seems to work just like the iOS version, you can browse or search for content and view the EPG history. I installed in on my Nexus 7 and Nexus 4 without any issues but Channel 4 do say that the only Android 4.0 and up is supported and that it will not work on Rooted devices.
The 4oD app is free to download and hosts a wide selection of programmes from Channel 4, E4 and More4. This content is available to watch free of charge, with no limit to the amount you can watch, and is accessible via WiFi networks.
