It’s been in development for a while but its final here, the finished version of XBMC 12 Frodo. This is a big release of XBMC as it includes a ton of new features like HD audio including DTS-MA and Dolby HD, Live TV and PVR support and improved AirPlay support.
It is the first version to officially support the Raspberry Pi and works really well on the little computer. I am processes of writing a guide to using XBMC on a Raspberry Pi as a Media Center system and it’s a very powerful combination. Also included is initial support for Android.
Head over to xbmc.org for the download and if you’re a Raspberry Pi user then I would wait for one of the specific Pi versions of XBMC like Raspbmc or Xbian to come out with a final Frodo version.
