As we reported over the weekend Sky have launched Sky Go Extra which is a TV and movie download service for iOS, Mac, PC and Android. The service costs £5 per month (Sky are currently offering a two month free trial) and enables downloading of TV shows and movies (depending on your Sky package). You can register 4 devices at once with two being run concurrently.

The Android app has been updated to support Sky Go Extra and adds support for the HTC One X+, Motorola RAZRi and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. The iOS version has Sky Go Extra and been updated and has been optimized for the iPhone 5 and iPod Touch (5th gen)
