The Microsoft Surface runs on Windows RT and it’s not possible to get Windows Media Center to work on RT. So if you want to watch live TV on the Surface you can stream from sites like BBC iPlayer or with DVBLink use your existing Windows Media Center to stream live TV to the Surface. The good thing about using DVBLink is you don’t have to worry about web bandwidth or plugins, the app is in the Windows Store and at the moment is pretty basic but it does the job.
