Ceton are one few companies developing for Windows Media Center and are the only OEM developing Extenders at the moment. The Ceton Echo Windows Media Center Extender is in beta at the moment and is now available for pre-order from Newegg.com for $179
The Extender will be only extender available for Windows Media Center other than the Xbox 360 and is a tiny little package. No UK availability at the moment but I should have a beta unit here soon to test.
