Google have rolled out Android 4.2 for the Nexus 7. My device got the update last night and the first thing I noticed was the new lock screen which you can add widgets to the start screen, you can add email and calendar widgets and hopefully more will be available soon.

Also in 4.2 is multi-user support so each user in your family can have their own home screen, apps and widgets. The keyboard now has gesture typing which works very much like Swipe and works very well, typing is much faster with it enabled.

Other updates include expandable notifications, Daydreams a kind of screensaver that will use images from your photo albums or Google Currents and improved search.
