This month we have the Microsoft Surface, new iPads, Kindle File and now a new 10 inch Nexus from Google plus a new Nexus phone the Nexus 4. Both have been added to the Play Store.

The Nexus 10 is a 10 inch tablet with a 2560 x 1600 screen, Dual Core A15 processor, front and back cameras, NFC, 16GB storage running Android 4.2 (still called Jelly Bean). Taking on the iPad with the 16GB version on sale for £319 and the 32GB version on sale at £389.

I really like my Nexus 7 so I expect the 10 inch version to be a nice device. I am not sure about the curved design but I would need to see it in person to make a proper judgement.

Awesome movies in stunning HD.

Dazzling 10-inch display.

With a dazzling 2560-by-1600 high-resolution display and powerful graphics processor, Nexus 10 places you right inside the action with picture-perfect performance. Over 4-million pixels in your hands means that text is sharper, HD movies are more vivid and photos look as clear as the day you took them.

Made for entertainment.

All your favorite Google Play content looks great on Nexus 10. With movies available in full 1080p, you’ll always have the best seat in the house

Browse the web with the speed of Chrome.

Updated to bring you the web in HD, Chrome is now better than ever on Nexus 10. Advanced MIMO WiFi and accelerated page loading give you web browsing speeds up to 4x faster* than normal WiFi.

Explore the planet with Google Earth.

Explore the world in stunning HD with Google Earth. Pan, zoom, and tilt your view as you travel the globe, fly over 3D imagery of entire metropolitan areas, or sit back and take guided tours of your favorite cities, historic landmarks and natural wonders.

Phenomenal photos and powerful tools.

View, edit and share your photos on Nexus 10. The ultra high-resolution display lets you relive each moment in stunning detail, while powerful new editing tools make it easy to touch up your best shots before sharing them with friends and family with just a few taps.

Google also announced the Nexus 4 phone built by LG. On Google’s Play Store it comes unlocked £239 for the 8GB version and £279 for the 16GB version.

The 4 has a 4.7 inch screen running at 1280 x 768 running Android 4.2. I like the idea of Nexus phone and getting the latest version of Android without having to wait for updates from Samsung.
