The VLC team have released the 6th beta of VLC for Android. This version has Jelly Bean Hardware decoding, reduced CPU usage and UI improvements. They must be getting close to the final release soon as i have this build to be very stable.

Download the app from Google Play:

What’s in this version:

This is the sixth beta available of VLC for Android.
The new beta is a bugfix release above 0.0.5, fixing audio glitches, Jelly Bean Hardware decoding, and reducing CPU and RAM usages in the UI.
It continues the UI improvements, the tablet-freedly mode, the stability and speed improvements of 0.0.5. It is still Intel and Tegra2 CPU compatible.
It also brings many crashes and issues that were reported by users, and translations updates.
But remember, this is still a beta 😉
