When I need to use Windows on my Mac I use VMWare Fusion, it works well and Windows 8 work pretty well on it too. VMWare have just updated Fusion to version 5 which has support for Mountain Lion, AirPlay mirroring and Windows 8.

Fusion say that Windows starts 40% and has improved battery life. The upgrade price from older editions is £39, I haven’t taken the plunge yet so I would be interested to hear if anyone else has given it a try.

VMware Fusion 5 embraces new technologies found in Mountain Lion, Windows 8 and the latest Macs to give users the best experience in running Windows programs on their Macs.

Upgrade now to take advantage of 70+ new optimization and performance features including:

  • OS X Mountain Lion with notification center,
