We’ve really liked Epson’s current range of projectors and at IFA today Epson launched their new range of 3D Projectors. I managed to get a sneak peak at these yesterday whilst Epson were setting up their stand at IFA and the EH-TW6100W looked really impressive.
The EH-TW6100W, EH-TW6100 and EH-TW5910 are a range of Full HD projectors and claim to offer improvements over the 3D experience of the current range which we already called the best we had ever seen.
Features of the range:
- Wireless Full HD connectivity (EH-TW6100W only)
- New wireless HD transmitter with five HDMI inputs1, allowing non-wireless devices to be connected
- Radio Frequency (RF) 3D technology, providing a strong signal for 3D glasses
- 3LCD technology with equally bright White and Colour Light output
- 2D to 3D conversion
The EH-TW6100W projects Full HD content wirelessly – even from non-wireless devices, which can be connected using the included wireless HD transmitter. This reduces the number of cables needed, making installation easier and tidier.
2D HD content can be converted to 3D at the touch of a button, while automatic colour optimisation, 3D depth adjustment and super-resolution technology further enhance the viewing experience. Epson’s 3LCD technology and an equally high White and Colour Light Output of up to 2,300 lumens ensure colours are lifelike and every detail is accurately reproduced.
Kally Kanda, product manager, Epson UK, says: “Since we entered the Full HD 3D home cinema market a year ago, we’ve added some great new functions to our home cinema products, as well as improving our wireless connectivity. Our new wireless Full HD transmitter features five HDMI inputs, four more than previous models. Users can now effortlessly control even more devices with a single remote control.”
The EH-TW6100W and EH-TW6100 both come with a pair of USB-rechargeable, Radio Frequency, lightweight, active shutter 3D glasses, which can be used up to 10 metres from the projector.
The EH-TW6100W, EH-TW6100 and EH-TW5910 are available from October, priced at £1,599, £1,299 and £899 respectively.
