This week HP announced a new range of low cost consumer and business PCs and I have the prices.  The Pavilion Sleekbook 14 will cost £429 and has 1TB of storage, 6 hours of battery, HDMI and USB 3. There is also a 15 inch version which adds a numeric keyboard. Sleepbook is a brand created by HP which is not a true Ultrabook but does have some Ultrabook styling so you get the look of an Ultrabook but without features like SSD drives and a lower cost.

The other devices are more business focused like the ProBook 4545s costing £367 and the Compaq Pro 6305 at £446

This announcement follows HP’s unveiling of new touch-enabled notebooks (list) on August 30th and new All-in-One desktops on September 10th.  An enterprise-ready tablet will be announced soon.
