Last night I was notified of an update for my Samsung Galaxy Note. The update isn’t Jelly Bean as I hoped but it is a significant change to the TouchWiz UI, the launcher, the Gallery and the setup experience.
The update is labelled N7000XXLRK and was a 196.44MB download. The launcher has a slightly smoother feel to it when switching between screens and some of the menus have been improved. The apps screen has been changed and it looks more like the app screen on my Nexus 7 with a tab to switch between apps and widgets.
The other changes include a revamped Gallery and a new setup experience. All the changes are a nice improvement but I really want to see Jelly Bean on the Note.
One word of warning, it reset all my shortcuts and widgets back to the default!
