During Amazon’s Kindle announcement today they announced a new Kindle HD range including a 8.9″ HD and a 7″ HD models and the good news for us this side of the pond is that the 7″ HD model is going to make it’s way to the UK. The 7 inch tablet is priced at £159 for the 16GB model and £199 for the 32GB model.
The Fire HD is in direct competition with Google’s Nexus 7 tablet which is priced at £159 for the 8GB version and £199 for the 16GB edition and look at the specs I have to say it’s very competitive.
Amazon are taking pre-order now and the shipping date is expected to be October 25th.
