Sky have released Sky Sports TV for Android devices that will enable viewing of all the Sky sports channels (including Sky F1) from an Android device. You don’t need a Sky subscription to get at the content, instead you have to subscribe to a £4.99 in subscription via Google Play. So despite having a Sky subscription you still have to pay extra for the app, you could use the Sky Go app to avoid this but still it’s a strange decision.

Also the device support is pretty limited, There is no Jelly Bean support and a small range of HTC and Samsung phones supported.

The following devices are supports: HTC Desire, HTC Desire S, HTC Desire HD, HTC Incredible, HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation XE, Galaxy Nexus, Samsung Galaxy S, Samsung Galaxy S II and Samsung Galaxy Note.
