I really enjoyed Preston’s Raspberry Jam last week and as we have Raspberry Pi on the agenda for our user group meeting in September we have decided at a bit of  Raspberry Jam to our user group. We want Raspberry Pi owners (or prospective owners) and enthusiast to get together and share Raspberry Pi experiences.  We will have demonstrations of Raspberry Pi running XBMC, media servers and maybe a bit of Scratch programming and we would love it if you could bring your SD cards to show off what you have been doing with your Pi. If you have any suggestions for topics or have something you would show off let us know.

As the Raspberry Jam is a part of the TDL User Group it means you will get to meet with other enthusiasts and you can see a great range of classic computers from The Centre for Computing History, Windows and Linux demonstrations, Windows Phone training sessions and lots of other topics.

The TDL User Group and Wigan Raspberry Jam is September 22nd at The Rose Centre (Lowton Civic Hall) and tickets are priced at £3 for adults, under 16s free if accompanied by a paying adult (money going to a donation to The Centre for Computing History). It’s going to be a great day and a great opportunity to chat with other enthusiast.

So get you ticket now and we will see you there!
