Sky have released the first version of their Sky Go app for Android but before you rush to download it’s only supported on a limited number of devices:
HTC Desire, HTC Desire S, HTC Desire HD, HTC Incredible, HTC Sensation, Samsung Galaxy S, Samsung Galaxy S II
Sadly my Samsung Galaxy Note is not on the list so no Sky Go on my device, hopefully more devices will be added soon. They also say that Android 4.0 will not be supported initially, so if you upgrade your supported device it will no longer work.
With the app you can watch Sky Sports, Sky Movies, Sky Atlantic, Sky 1, Sky Living, Sky Arts and Sky News. If your device is supported you can download it from the Android Market.

Watching Sky Go on your smartphone through a 3G connection will use data and contribute to the monthly allowance set by your mobile network operator. Exceeding this could result in significant charges.
How do I sign in?
All you need to start enjoying Sky Go is a Sky iD username and password which you can set up at skygo.com/signup.
How much does Sky Go cost?
Sky Go is available to Sky TV customers at no extra cost but what you will be able to watch depends on your Sky TV subscription. You can register two devices and watch on both at the same time.
What are the streaming requirements?
During the first few seconds of streaming Sky Go will identify your bandwidth and begin to stabilise. We recommend a minimum continuous bandwidth of 500Kb per second to access high quality streams.
What are the handset requirements?
Sky Go is supported on the following Android smartphones running on 2.2 & 2.3 operating systems: HTC Desire, HTC Desire S, HTC Desire HD, HTC Incredible, HTC Sensation, Samsung Galaxy S, Samsung Galaxy S II.
Please note that if existing Sky Go users with V2.2 or 2.3 choose to upgrade to V4.0 they will not be able to stream content through the Sky Go app until the operating system can be fully supported.
For rights reasons Sky Go is not supported on any Android device that has been rooted.
The service is only available in the UK and ROI. Mobile network and/or Wi-Fi charges may apply. Contact your Network Operator for further information.
General: Available to residential customers in the UK or Ireland only. Some programmes from live Sky TV channels are unavailable via Sky Go. Further terms apply.
