Apple have updated the Apple TV to include Genius recommendations for Movies and TV shows. It seems to work by suggestings titles based on what you have purchased previously. You should see the recommendations in the Movies and TV Shows section of the device. The feature seems similar to the recommendations features in iTunes.
On the web I have seen people showing screen shots of Genius recommendations but as you can see my Apple TV can’t seem to work me out, probably because I don’t really purchase a lot on iTunes.
