Motorola today took the wraps off the next generation Xoom tablets. The Xoom 2 comes in two editions, a 10.1-inch Gorilla Glass screen version and a slightly smaller 8.2 inch “Media Edition”. Both have 1.2GHz processor, front and rear cameras and run Android Honeycomb with Ice Cream Sandwich coming in the future. As well as being slightly smaller the Media Edition is comes in at the lower price of £329.99 with the 10.1 inch version at £379.

I am still not convinced that the price points are going to help it compete with the iPad, maybe it could be the best of the Android tablets, it has some nice features like the PC streaming app MotoCast, HDMI output and a remote control app. Anybody interested?
