Microsoft launch “Into” Windows Phone promotion with a chance to win a trip to Finland

Microsoft have launched a new Windows Phone promotion with a prize of a trip to Finland (the home of Nokia). Launched as part of Into by Windows Phone which aims to “bring you closer” to Windows Phone with offers and special content for Windows Phone fans, you can also win a pair of tickets to a social event by ex-Blur’s Alex James.

To win the trip to Finland you have to take a picture of yourself dressed for the Finnish winter and upload it through the into app, details below:

We’ll also give you two stunning new Nokia Lumia 800s to boot.

Finland is a cold, cold place. To unlock your chance to win, you’ll need to prove that you’re prepared for the wintry conditions. First, access the Windows Phone into app on Facebook here. Once you’ve accessed the app, you’ll see our icy cold arctic adventure advertised right there on the home screen.

What next?

Take a photo of yourself suitably dressed for the cold Finnish winter and upload it through the into app.  Whether this means wearing as many clothes as you can at one time, or dressing up in a costume you’ve designed especially to keep out the cold, we want to see photographic evidence of your Finnish fashion finesse. Then, simply click the button which says ‘tweet my entry’ which will post the line: ‘I’m hoping to go on an icy cold trip to Finland thanks to #intoWP. The Windows Phone team and a Nokia expert will judge who’s best-dressed for the Finnish winter weather. The lucky winner – plus one friend – will be jetting off to Finland on Club Europe flights with British Airways. You’ll be staying in the stunning Snow Hotel for one night – but don’t worry, we’ll also put you up in a warm and cosy teepee cabin for two nights. You’ll also get the chance to take in the amazing Finnish landscape on a snowmobile and even get to drive your own husky sleigh across this magical arctic scenery.
