Good news for UK Windows Media Center users, the EPG problem effecting all UK users we told you about has been fixed by Microsoft. We raised the issue with Microsoft earlier this week and today they told me they had fixed the “root” issue . I manually updated my EPG (by going in to settings Guide, and Get Latest Listings) and Media Center downloaded 14 days of guide data. You don’t have to manually update the guide, Media Center will do it automatically over the next day.
It’s good to see Microsoft responding to the issue fairly quickly

Well it ain’t fixed on my Vista machines. The Media Centre guide says “No Data Available” on 14 out of the first 15 programs – basically all the programs you want to record. BBC 1 2 3 4, ITV Ch 4, Ch5 etc, etc. Bizarely, most of the listings for old ‘repeat’ channels Dave et al, are all shown.
Weird.
