Congratulations to our very own Garry Whittaker for being awarded an MVP of Windows Entertainment & Connected Home Awards for the 2nd year running. I have been awarded again and I am now in my 6th year.
Last year the award was renamed from Windows Media Center to Windows Entertainment & Connected Home Awards and that points to the fact that Microsoft are moving award from Media Center. We know Windows Media Center will be included in Windows 8 in some form but apart from the enhanced Play To features we know little else about Windows 8’s entertainment features.
It’s going to a fascinating 12 months as we see Windows 8 progress from a developer preview to the release version, hopefully with new media features!
