A great application for helping with the maintenance of Windows Media Center is MCE 7 Reset Toolbox. The addin  has features like backup and restore features for lineup, subscriptions and schedules, the ability to fix Media Center’s menus and other Windows task such as System Restore and hardware uninstall.
