It’s Apple launch day and as many people suggested today Apple launched new Macbook Airs and a new Mac Mini.

The new Mac mini’s looks really nice, its about the size of the old Apple TV and would make a great Media Server. It has Thunderbolt so you can connect it to the new Apple Thunderbolt Display and other peripherals. mini display port, HDMI, USB and a a card reader.

It’s powered by Intel Core i5 processors either 2.3GHz or 2.5GHz dual-core or with a 2.7GHz Intel Core i7. They come with 500GB or 750GB storage and has the option of a 256 solid stage drive.

This is a really nice box and starts at £529 but once you start adding the extras it can get very pricey, I got it up to £1579 for the i7 and SSD option.

I know some readers really love the Mac Mini and others think its way over priced
