Of the iPad competitors launch that I have seen HP’s Touchpad stands out as being one of the best, I got to play around with one last week and I liked that it didn’t try and be an iPad clone.

It looks like HP will be offering a cloud based music and video service something that Apple haven’t managed yet. According to precentral.net the Touchpad will come with a music syncing solution that will use cloud servers to sync and store your music and will also allow TouchPad owners to stream music they don’t own (maybe some kind of subscription service). With HP looking to offer WebOS on PCs in the future HP could well be a major player in our digital lifestyle, well at least until Apple offer the same features Smile
