AverMedia Launch Networked TV Tuner

F200 picture EN1.jpgAverMedia have launched a network based TV Tuner called HD HomeFree, the tuner enables you to watch digital TV from any machine on your network. The solution is very much like the HD Homerun which I am currently using to get TV to my Media Center systems.

It supports DVB-T but I don’t think it’s DVB-T2 so no HD recordings unfortunately and I can’t tell from the details on the web site whether it supports Windows Media Center, it seems to use its own software and I can’t see Media Center mentioned anywhere on their info page
