I love my Zune HD but the lack of integration between the Zune Software and Windows Media Center has always been a bit of a frustration so I was interested to see a “how to” integration guide on HowtoGeek.com. The step by step guide takes your though using Media Center Studio to get the shortcut link into Windows Media Center, while its not true integration but its a start.

You’ll need to download Media Center Studio and the Zune Desktop player software. (See download links below) Also, make sure you have Media Center closed. Some of the actions in Media Center Studio cannot be performed while WMC is open.

When Microsoft revealed Windows 7 Embedded Standard was revealed last month there was online video from Microsoft that depicting Zune in the Media Center menu. I wonder if that was just a mockup or something more. The software is due for a fall update..especially with WP7 launch.
