There are been rumours of Google creating software for TVs or a set top box for some time and now it looks like Google are set to introduce the software at Google’s I/O conference on May 19th. The software will be designed for set top boxes, TVs and other devices with partners like Sony. Logitech and Intel.
The latest rumour is that Sony will developing devices powered by Intel Atom chips which could be the very area Windows Embedded with Media Center could be aimed, I am really looking forward to seeing what an OEM can do with an embedded version of Windows Media Center
