At Automatedhome they have great guide to building a DIY Windows Home Server. The box is called the JukeBox MKII and has an impressive 8 SATA drives and Mark does an excellent job explaining the components used.

The original version of the Jukebox used Windows XP so its good to see that replaced with Windows Home Server
