Microsoft have released the first set of updates to the released version of Windows 10 Anniversary Update (1607). The update is actually the 4th update to build 14393 but the first post release patch. It contains reliability improvements for Internet Explorer 11, pen fixes and a Windows 10 Mobile Bluetooth fix. There are also security updates for the Kernal, graphics, Edge and Authentications methods.
This update includes quality improvements and security fixes. No new operating system features are being introduced in this update. Key changes include:
Improved reliability for Internet Explorer 11.
Addressed issue to keep pen click settings after updating to Windows 10 Version 1607.
Addressed issue that may cause Windows 10 Mobile devices to hang after turning Bluetooth on and off very quickly.
Security updates to Kernel Mode Drivers, Microsoft Graphics Component, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer 11, and Windows Authentication Methods.

This update ran on my computer on 6th – its now 8th and I have had a number of freezes. I get a blue screen and the message Kernal Security Check Failure. I have had no new software or configuration changes except the Windows 10 update to 1607
Any idea what may be causing this. I know I can take the computer back to before the 1607 update but this is supposed to be an improvement.
It will be a driver that has been changed as part of the update. You can switch it back via Device Manager if you know which is causing the problem.
Can you see if you can change the video driver back to an older version?
