Now that Microsoft have the Windows 10 Anniversary Update (Redstone 1) rolling out Windows enthusiasts are looking to what is coming next. We already we knew that Microsoft were planning the next update to Windows 10 in 2017 and now Microsoft have confirmed that there will be two feature updates to Windows 10 next year (on the Technet blog):

Based on feedback from organizations moving to Windows 10, this will be our last feature update for 2016, with two additional feature updates expected in 2017.

The first one probably due spring 2016 will be code named Redstone 2 and will probably be smaller updates to the OS with features that didn’t make the July 2016 update. The 2nd 2017 update we have less information on but will probably out later in the 2017.

One thing is for sure is that as Windows Insiders it is going to be fun testing out the builds.
