Roku make great media streamers which can run a ton of apps like Plex and Emby making them my favourite streaming devices. As well as working with a remote control you can now also control your device from a new Windows 10 app. The app is free and you can control the device, browse content and ask Cortana to find content.

The link currently takes you to the Windows 8.1 app hopefully it won’t be long before the new app is available.

Browse more than 3,000 channels and 300,000 movies and TV episodes, or ask Cortana to search for your favorite content.

  1. Everything appears to be fine until you actually want to watch anything. Click Launch Channel, any channel, and absolutely nothing happens.
