Last week Microsoft announced Facebook leader boards were coming to the Microsoft Health app and today the updated app has started rolling out. That isn’t all that is new for the Microsoft Band you can now choose which apps send you notifications and you can now have up to 20 tiles on the Microsoft Band 2 which is much better than the previous 10.
With the new notification options you can pick which apps on the phone can send notification to the band. Previously you either had all apps sending notifications via Action Centre or none of them. Now you pick notification on an app by app basis. By default app the app send notification via Action Centre and you can turn off apps you don’t want notifying you.
The firmware for the Band comes down with an updated version of the Microsoft Health app.
