Windows 10 comes with a great video play called Movies & TV (or Film & TV depending on your region) and as well as playing content from Microsoft’s video store it plays content on the Windows 10 PC. It can also play content stored on other Windows PCs or NAS devices on your network. So you could have your videos stored on a central Windows PC and watch them on your laptop or tablet.

Out of the box it is not immediately clear how to add network content to the app so in this video I walk through adding the extra locations to the app without needing any extra software. If you want to easily setup network sharing between your Windows devices have a look at my HomeGroup tutorial.
