Channel 4’s catch up and streaming service is called All 4 and they have a universal app for Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Channel 4 have just updated the app hopefully fixing sound problems that has been causing issues for many users. The issue which didn’t seem to effect everybody causes the app to have not sound when watching TV which is a bit of a problem!
Channel 4 don’t say what has changed with this release but hopefully the sound problem has been fixed, my test machines are working ok but they were working before the update.

Sorry, I did not find the solution from this post… But, I searched online and I knew outdated driver is the one of the reasons. If your problem is also caused by incompatible sound driver, you could update the driver in Device Manager or Driver Talent. Well, I used Driver Talent as it detected all the drivers and found out the problematic drivers. Then With just one click and reboot, the problem was resolved. Hope this is helpful for those who also encounter the same problem.
