Last week Microsoft confirmed that the ARM powered Surface 2 had gone out of production and that Windows RT devices wouldn’t get a full Windows 10 upgrade and it looks like the only other Windows RT powered device has been discontinued. Dutch site pcmweb.nl reports that Microsoft has already ended production of the Lumia 2520 tablet with Microsoft telling them “An exact date for the end of production is not available.”, so it has probably been some time since they were made. It’s ironic that the ARM powered devices have been discontinued just as Microsoft announce that the new ARM powered Raspberry Pi 2 will support Windows 10 for IoT projects.

Windows RT devices like the Lumia 2520 and Surface 2 may get some kind of upgrade but will not get the full Windows 10 OS.
