Plex have updated the Windows and Windows Phone versions of Plex media apps. The universal app adds Plex Home support, playlists are now supported on the phone and PC and there the usual bug fixes in the apps (see the release notes). Also added for the Window version is support for native MKV containers with Windows 10, so it doesn’t have to transcode MVK on Windows 10.

Plex is a great way stream media from your home media server to a range of devices including Windows and Windows Phone.

The app is a universal app and you can find the Windows version in the Windows Store and the Windows Phone version in Windows Phone Store.
