The Windows Phone client of the excellent media server system Media Browser has been updated. This release brings the app to speed with the latest version of the Media Browser server and includes some enhancements and fixes.

With the app you can now skip to a track in the now playing list by tapping on it and there is a new video streaming profile for improved server support.

The fixes in this release include:

  • Music album not sorted within group
  • Erroneous indentation in full now playing page when more than 10 tracks
  • Hide the Now Playing bar when video playback starts
  • Pinned collections not honouring transparent tile setting
  • Folders in collections displaying both watched tick and unwatched counts
  • Using Album Artist instead of Artist for tracks now.
