Microsoft have continued with their regular update of the Windows Phone Xbox Video app. Today they have released version 1.6.205.0 for Windows Phone 8 and 2.6.205.0 for Windows Phone 8.1 that improves the performance of the app. The app should start faster, has faster playback for video playback and improved search results. It would be nice if Microsoft could add some networking features to the app as it will only play local content or content rented/purchased from the video store.
The updated is rolling out today and here are the changes:

More informative error messages for geofencing and download limit issues
