nuVue have added support for Media Browser in their Android app. With the app you get notifications when new items are added to your collection. It monitors your Media Browser server and pops up a notification on your Android device when there is new content available, you can group by media types and servers, it supports local and remote connections plus it has support for Android Wear notification.
I should also say it also supports Plex servers as well as Media Browser. The app costs £1.18 from the Google Play Store.
