Sky have overhauled the iOS version of the Sky+ app bringing new UI and an improved remote control features for the iPad and iPhone. The app has a new homepage which brings together the EPG, box sets, catch-up and store content into one location. There is also a new series section which makes it easier to find and watch new TV series.
The update remote control features include being able to turn on and off the Sky+ box from the app and control the Sky+ menus via Select and Backup buttons (you will need the latest update for your Sky+ box).
– Brand new Homepage page with all of your TV & movies in one easy to find place
– A New Series section where you can find the latest TV shows and can catch up from the start
– Some of you miss having a Highlights section to help you find things to watch, so we’ve added it back in as part of the new the Homepage
– Extra remote control features – turn your Sky+HD box on/off and Select/Back Up buttons (you’ll need a new Sky+HD software update, more info in the description)
